31st Territory Freshwater Fly Fishing Open

Each year the Darwin Flyrodders hosts the Territory Freshwater Fly Fishing Open held on the iconic Corroboree Billabong, which has over 50 kilometres of navigable waters.
This catch and release tournament focuses on the premier target species of Barramundi and Saratoga, with others such as Tarpon, Sleepy Cod, Longtoms, Catfish also eligible for points for length. The premier species earn double points.
Our base for the competition is the Corroboree Park Tavern at Marrakai on the Arnhem Highway, which is only a 15-minute drive to the Corroboree Billabong launching ramp. Evening entertainment and presentations are provided by Darwin Flyrodders, as well as great prizes and a *competition shirt.
The competition brief will be held on the Friday night at 8pm with fishing times Saturday 7am (lines in) - 5pm (scores in), Sunday 7am (lines in) - 1pm (scores in), and final presentation at 3pm Sunday.
Meals provided include a bacon and egg roll and coffee/tea each morning, dinner on Saturday night and finger food at the Sunday final presentation. Meals can be ordered at all other times. Fishing lunch packs can be organised for competitors but must be done the night before at the tavern.

REFUND POLICY
The angler is entitled to a refund of fees paid, less any reasonable e
xpenses incurred by Darwin Flyrodders and less a $20 administration fee.
An application for a refund must be submitted in writing to the Darwin Flyrodders Inc. at info@darwinflyrodders.org.au no later than 5.00pm five (5) days prior to the commencement of the event to be eligible for a refund of any nature.
Refund applications received after this time will be denied.
The angler accepts that should any fees arise by their financial institution as a result of a dishonoured payment on a cheque or credit card debit, the angler will be responsible for any such fees and will be ineligible to participate until such time as those fees are paid.
